FATHER TRIEST INTERNET CAFE in DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA

This week, 26th January 2022, the Brothers of Charity Start-Up Fund, under the management of the King Baudouin Foundation, awarded a substantial start-up grant to the Father Triest Internet Café as an income-generating social business. The intended net income will directly benefit the local apostolic works of the Congregation of Brothers of Charity in this region.

In addition, this activity aims to make a significant contribution to the further socio-economic development of this region, also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, by supporting digitization and access to digital information, as a strong lever for further social and economic development, and by making it more accessible to larger population groups. With special attention to the more vulnerable and disadvantaged.
