[ENG] Celebrating 50 years of BFOS in honour of its late president Vic Blaton
On Monday 18 September 2017, an event was held in the Gothic Hall of the Bruges City Hall marking the 50th anniversary of the Bruges Development and Cooperation Fund (BFOS) with the theme ‘The sense of development cooperation in a historical perspective’. It was first of all a tribute to founder Vic Blaton, who sadly and unexpectedly passed away in February 2017. His presence was sorely missed during this celebration. BFOS has subsidized dozens of development projects over the past few years, including a Fracarita International project. Since 2015, BFOS has advised the city council on project support in the South.
