Day Care Centre for Children with Autism

The number of teachers and students have been growing at the Day Care Centre for the children with autism in Ho chi Minh city (Vietnam) in the last years. This led to the enlargement of classrooms in 2020. These classrooms are equipped and arranged according to the government’s requirements.

Three staff members have been assigned to teach the children, each one being in charge of six to seven children and applying an individualised teaching programme i.e. a teaching programme that is adapted to each child’s abilities. 20 children attend lessons every day.

Two Vietnamese Brothers of Charity were sent to Universities in 2020 to upgrade their knowledge and their competence so that they may be able to care for autistic children in a more professional way in coming years.
