Celebration of the International Day of persons with Disabilities at the CRHP-Kinshasa

On 4 December, the Centre de Rééducation pour Handicapés Physiques (CRHP) celebrated the international Day of Persons with Disabilities that falls on 3 December each year. This year, the theme was ‘Leadership and participation of persons with disabilities toward an inclusive, accessible, and sustainable post-Covid-19 world’.

During the festivities, the centre's leaders explained the meaning of disability and called on the government to guarantee equality and integration of people living with disabilities into society so that they can achieve their full potential.
