Pax Hostel
The Pax Hostel is a boarding school owned and managed by the Brothers of Charity in Polokwane. The majority of the resident pupils follow classes in the secondary school of the Pax College. The majority of students originate from homes whereby they experience extreme poverty. The boarding school offers them the opportunity to grow up in better circumstances and to study. Students benefit from nutritious meals, potable water, good pedagogical supervision and the opportunity for socialisation. Because most parents cannot pay the full enrolment fee for the boarding school, the NGO supports the boarding school’s operating costs.
