Newman High School

The Newman High School consists of two academic years (form 5 and form 6, both are identified as A levels). The school has clear admission criteria which are focused upon accepting those students who may be limited in their access to education due to poverty and their specific living conditions. At present, around four hundred pupils attend the classes: boys as well as girls, resident as well as day pupils. Furthermore, pupils who do not have the necessary grades or credit to start the fifth year can follow a preparatory year (“Preform 5”), in which they are prepared for the national exam. Some 200 students follow a teachers' training.
