Educational Resource Centre

The Diocese and the educational department in the district of Kigoma have developed a pilot project in collaboration with the Brothers of Charity in order to improve the quality of the education in the region through academic refresher courses for the teachers. The centre enables teachers to access the internet and a library with pedagogical reference books. Further training courses, seminars and workshops are ongoing. Hundreds of non qualified teachers from the surrounding area have attended the centre and have benefitted from the additional training.
