Triest Training Centre

 

The Triest Training Centre (TTC) focuses on adults with an intellectual disability. Individuals are personally guided and encouraged to focus upon reintegration into mainstream society. By participating in meaningful activities, including sport, the people live in a regular, non-institutionalised environment. There is an activity centre with several workshops where the clients can take part in the everyday production process. The products are then sold at the local market. In addition, there are four houses providing residential sheltered accommodation. Approximately thirty people can be accommodated. Many clients participate in an adult literacy programme through the TTC.
