St. Conrad's Little Saints

Together with the primary school and the secondary school of the same name, the St. Conrad's Little Saints forms the Saint Conrad's College. The school was founded in 1965 by the Brothers of Charity to provide a response to the great need for education of the underprivileged people from the surrounding area. In 1976, the Brothers decided to transform Saint Conrad’s into a multiracial school, a decision resulting in fierce opposition under the apartheid system. Currently, the school is trying to offer inclusive education as well by admitting disabled children into mainstream education.
