Pleasant sports day for children in Ja-Ela, Sri Lanka

Children and adolescents of the Nisansala Special Training Centre (Ja Ela, Sri Lanka) had their annual sports day. This centre provides services to youngsters with learning disabilities.

The sports day was very successful! Teachers motivated their pupils in a wonderful way; they even ran with them and cheered them on as they reached the finish line. Some pupils needed help to cross the line, others gave their heart and soul to finish their lap.

Some were running those few meters with their tongues out and with sweat on their brow, yet they always finished with a big smile and happy that everyone applauded for them. The children's parents were proudly admiring their children’s hidden talents!
