Inauguration of the solar panel site in Sivaganga, India

During a simple ceremony that was held on Sunday, 18 December at the Dr. Moscati Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre in Karaikudi, Sivaganga, Bro. René Stockman, Chairman of Fracarita International and Superior General of the Brothers of Charity, opened the site where the Enforsa group, in association with Fracarita International, will start building a solar power plant.

With this project, we hope to contribute in providing the necessary financial resources to increase the centre's financial autonomy. The centre is developing rapidly and currently serves about 50 psychiatric patients, men and women, who follow an intensive rehabilitation programme, the only one of its kind in Tamil Nadu, India. With this project, which will supply the necessary electricity to the centre and which is also looking to provide electricity to the area, Fracarita International, in cooperation with Enforsa, is taking the next step to improving the financial viability of the facilities through income-generating activities.
